The Mont Comte is a mountain located in the GaspΓ©sie - Γles-de-la-Madeleine region of Quebec. At 1,675 metres (5,495 feet) in elevation, it is the highest peak in the province east of the Saint Lawrence River. The mountain is composed of Precambrian gneiss and granite. It has been extensively glaciated, and numerous lakes and tarns are found on its slopes. The mountain is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, and skiers.
