The Sunwapta Falls are a series of waterfalls located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. The falls are formed by the Sunwapta River, which descends from the Athabasca Glacier to the Columbia Icefield. The river drops over a cliff to form a horseshoe-shaped waterfall that is about wide and high. There are several other waterfalls in the area, including the Athabasca Falls and the Crowfoot Falls.
The start of the trails at the Sunwapta Falls can be accessed from the parking lot located off of the Icefields Parkway.
