Why choose a trail at Moul Falls?

Moul Falls is a waterfall on Grouse Creek in Wells Gray Provincial Park, east-central British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the park's most popular short hiking trails. It is the only waterfall in the park that one can stand behind. Moul Falls is the third highest waterfall in the park, measured as a straight, unbroken drop. Grouse Creek rises from snowmelt, a lake and springs at a pass between Trophy Mountain and Table Mountain. It flows 18 km (11.2 mi) west before tumbling over Moul Falls, then McDiarmid Falls, and entering the Clearwater River.

The Moul Falls are a series of waterfalls located in the heart of British Columbia’s Columbia Valley. The falls are easily accessible and make for a popular day hike, offering stunning views of the surrounding valley and river below.

The hike to the falls is a moderate one, taking around an hour to complete. The trail winds its way through a beautiful forested area, with several smaller waterfalls to be seen along the way. The main falls come into view suddenly, as the trail opens up onto a rocky outcrop overlooking the river below.

The falls are best viewed from the bottom, where you can get close to the rushing water and feel the mist created by the cascading water. There is also a small cave located behind the falls, which makes for a great place to take a break and enjoy the sounds of nature all around you.
