Why choose a trail at Réserve Nationale De Faune De La Baie De L'isle-verte?
L'Isle-Verte contains the largest marsh cord grass of southern Quebec. This marsh, in which there are three species of sticklebacks in tide pools formed by the ice retreat in the spring, is essential to the survival of the black duck. Going through this reserve along a marshy shore, we will climb a slope through different natural environments. The marine environment is populated by several fish, but also of common and gray seals we can see on the rocks. Along the way, we can see some of the 224 species of birds present. Among them endangered species like the peregrine falcon and the loggerhead shrike. 60 species of birds nest there, one endangered Nelson's sparrow. What are the services on site?
