Beautiful little lake for a nice dip after a great hike up the rocks with our amazing guide Sam. The campsites look great but we had a package to sleep inside in the dorm rooms. The shower mats were filthy and the washrooms as well.. Don't forget your shower sandal and your hovering techniques when using the facilities. They have a few water toys that you can use to go out for a paddle and a floating dock that you can swim out to. Absolutely lovely! There is zip lining across the lake, nice experience. Short but sweet. There is a common kitchen, it's fairly clean and you have access to two BBQ's, stove, oven, cutlery, pots and pans.. you name it, it's probably there :-) There is a sauna near the lake, did not get the chance to use it and, a hot tub just off the deck. I very much enjoyed my visit but next time will try camping. Some of the staff were not too friendly and they gave me the impression that we were in their way. Can't win 'em all.

Thrilling experience! Had lots of fun and it was my first time ever at climbing. Guides were not very helpful. This isn't a beginners activity and very hard without a guide at some points. Im in good physical shape, but I didn't know anything about climbing and guides did not explain well enough so my fingers were in lots of pain after. I got more help, explenations and instructions from other climbers. Careful with the knees when you go down, don't rush! Bring gloves that protect well the fingers, I found it's a must. Mosquito repellent and a tiny bag of snacks and water (I had a huge backpack and it was not fun).

Very beautiful, plenty of activities for a younger crowd (20's and 30's). Wild camping (tents and sleeping bags), communal kitchen if required, mountain climbing, and a small lake. The views are breathtaking.

Breathtaking experience. Would definitely recommend trying the Via Ferrata. Tour guide named Gabriel was very friendly and very helpful. If you are scared of heights, be aware : it is very high up. That being said, you should still give it a go because the tour guides are amazing at making you feel safe. My mom was really scared of heights but the tour guide helped her during the whole activity. She ended up completing the whole thing and she is very proud of herself. Would definitely recommend.

Starting Point

Discover Charlevoix

Charlevoix is a natural sub-region that belongs to the Capitale-Nationale region. Geographically, Charlevoix is located northeast of Quebec City, along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.

It is a very well-known region because of its mountainous landscapes, which attract many tourists every year who come here not only for hiking but also for

- Dedicate ourselves to agrotourism

- Relaxing at the spa

- Admire the cultural heritage of the region (art galleries, crafts)

Let's see these different attractions of the region one by one.

As far as agrotourism is concerned, in Charlevoix you can take the Route des Saveurs. It is a path that goes from Petite-Rivière-Saint-François to La Malbaie, where you can discover fine wines, cheeses, organic meat and fine chocolate. This route is very special and offers the possibility to see how the products of the territory are transformed into symphonies of taste.

Speaking of spas, Charlevoix offers several establishments to try the pleasure of a true beauty treatment. What could be better than massages to relax after a long hike? At Le Germain Charlevoix, you'll find top-quality beauty treatments, and you can also take advantage of the many special offers reserved for tourists.

In conclusion, we must mention the fact that in Charlevoix, creation is a tradition. Here, craftsmanship is indeed very widespread, whether it is the art of ceramics or metal sculptures. It is therefore advisable to visit the region's handicraft laboratories to closely observe the making of small works of art and, why not, buy a souvenir.
