The Mont Sutton nature reserve offers more than 50 km of very well marked hiking trails. Whether you are an experienced mountain hiker or an occasional hiker, you will easily find a trail adapted to your level.

Mount Sutton, located in the province of Quebec, is one of the most beautiful natural parks in North America. Every season, visitors marvel at the simply majestic panoramas!

In the Eastern Township, located within the boundaries of Sutton, Quebec, Canada, Mount Sutton is considered a ski resort. It is located approximately 5 kilometers east of the urban city.

For all enthusiastic skiers, this can lead you to a breathtaking adventure. Mont Sutton is known for its incredible ski trails. In this 21st century, it can work together on 9 different elevators. At the same time, it has the capacity to hold 11,800 people per hour. In the 1960's, with the help of the Boulanger family, the hill was transformed into an alpine ski center and now hosts a terrain park.

This site is vertical of 457 m and has a longer run of 2.86 km. With a snowmaking capacity of 60%, it has a base altitude of 400 m and a maximum altitude of 968 m. For beginners as well as experienced skiers, there are 15 easy trials, 18 difficult trials, 11 very difficult trials and 16 extreme trials.

With the Snow Park service, it also offers 1 learning park (for children), 4 mountain chalets, 3 of which include a fireplace. It has 3 quads and 6 doubles. With its 175 hectares of skiable domain, Mont Sutton is not only the ski area, but also a concrete solution for summer days! The trials of the mountain, the hikes, the patrimonial visits of this Sutton are no less a success for you. If you are here for the first time, watch out for the snow. All the nightlife, the mountain terrain, the terrain park are family friendly and skiing is as good for beginners as it is for those who are qualified. Complete packages with ski tickets and lessons are easily available at Mont Sutton.

Ski touring and other outdoor games are available. The level of difficulty and the level of fall on the trail are less important, so we can offer it to beginners.

What are the activities to practice?

The range of activities to do at Mont Sutton depends of course on the season and the climate. In winter, the practice of downhill and cross-country skiing is recommended. When the sunny days arrive and after the snow melts, hiking becomes the sport and the main activity to practice on these mountain slopes.

Among the most interesting, you can take the Lac Spruce trail which leads as you guessed it to the lake of the same name or choose to hike the Mont Sutton randonnée trail which is called the Round Top trail. This trail will allow you to reach the highest point of this part of the territory.

The scenery is breathtaking. I didn't go all the way to the top, I would have but was with the little ones. From what I saw the mountain bike trails are top notch. Many trails and little jumps, not sure if there are bigger ones.

Nice welcome at the registration. Would have like benches to rest at trail intersections. Very technical trails because of many roots, rocks, mud and water.
