Unmarked route, complete lack of signals-using gps constantly, back and forth to correct wrong turns. We had to give up the completion of the circle. One wonders if there really is this path... Sometimes, too many bikes on the "sharing" tracks going super fast or blocking the ones that are meant to climb. What a pity, the views are pretty nice for hiking. It was four months ago. That might be such a perfect walk. The question is that all trails are mixed together. Getting off track is easy, and to find your way back you have to keep looking at your phone. The paths switch from forest to biking trail, broad gravel, lane... It's still a good workout. Yet certainly not the best hike in the townships in the North. It was five months ago. Mont Brome is part of southern Quebec's Monteregian Mountains. The height is 553 metres above sea level. It's similar to Bromont, Quebec City. On its slopes lies the ski resort Ski Bromont. Mont Brome could be the deep extension of a vastly eroded ancient volcanic complex that was probably active approximately 125 million years ago. The mountain was formed when the North American Plate, together with other Monteregian Hills mountains that form part of the vast Great Meteor hotspot line, moved west over the New England hotspot.
