Why choose a trail at Mont Tremblant Ski?

Mont Tremblant Ski Resort (known as Tremblant) is a year-round resort in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada, about 130 km (80 mi) northwest of Montreal. It is best known as a ski destination, but also features Lake Tremblant suitable for swimming and two golf courses in the summer months. The name of the mountain, Mont Tremblant, was derived from the local Algonquin natives, who called it the "trembling mountain." The summit is at an elevation of 875 metres (2,871 ft), which makes it one of the tallest peaks in the Laurentians. The mountain and resort are part of the Mont-Tremblant National Park and are both located near the village of Mont-Tremblant.

A beautiful place to visit. A visit is a must whether it is for the day or a few days. Lots of fun to be had with activities and hiking trails. The luge is a must do activity; simple to do and exhilarating. Many activities look wonderful to do but some are quite pricey when you have a big family, therefore we opted for the hiking trails instead. There are several hiking trails around the mountain and up the mountain of different degrees of difficulty. Beware of the trek up the mountain, it is a steep trek; it is quite the workout. The view from the mountain is spectacular... you won't be disappointed.

Nice day trip from Montreal. The area has a European vibe to it, especially the buildings and the outdoor cafe scene. There are plenty of attractions such as a gondola, ski lift, and luge. There are also two scenic lakes - Tremblant and Miroir, perfect for those who wish to enjoy some peace and quiet. The place can be very pricey so pack some food or bring your own stash if you're a frugal traveler like me.

Place is just magical both in fall and winter. Fall is the best season for me. Lots of restaurants to choose although a little pricey. Lots of activities for all ages. Cabriolet is free so it's a blast for the little ones.
