Jay Peak is a mountain located about 5 mi. (8 km) south of the Canada-US border, in Jay and Westfield, Orleans County, Vermont, of which it is the highest point. Most of the mountain is in Jay Peak State Forest. The mountain is named for the town of Jay in which much of the mountain except the peak area is located. The town of Jay, in turn, is named for the First Chief Justice of the United States and local landholder, John Jay. It is part of the northern Green Mountains. The mountain is flanked to the southwest by Big Jay, and to the north by North Jay Peak (3,438 ft / 1,048 m).The mountain is in the watershed of the Missisquoi River, which drains into Lake Champlain, then into Canada's Richelieu River, the Saint Lawrence River, and into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. The south side of the mountain drains into Jay Brook, thence west into the Trout River and the Missisquoi River. The northwest side of the mountain drains into Black Falls Brook, and thence into the Trout River. The north and northeast sides of the mountain drain east into the Jay Branch of the Missisquoi River.Jay Peak is the northernmost major mountain crossed by the Long Trail, a 272-mile (438-km) hiking trail running the length of Vermont.The Jay Peak Resort is on the northeast side of Jay Peak.

J'ai emmené ma famille pour une escapade le week-end de la fête du travail. Le service est excellent, la chambre est belle pour mes 2 enfants, ma femme et moi. La salle de bain est assez grande sans vous donner l'impression de manquer d'air. Les commodités sont là au cas où vous ne voudriez pas manger à l'extérieur. Le parc aquatique est a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Mes enfants y ont passé 6 heures d'affilée avant de rentrer à l'hôtel. Assez grand pour avoir plusieurs manèges, mais assez petit pour que vous n'attendiez pas trop longtemps pour votre tour. Le tour de TRAM était également à couper le souffle. Globalement, cela valait chaque centime.

Je suis revenu après quelques décennies pour trouver l'endroit aussi vivant et charmant en été qu'en hiver. Avant, c'était une super expérience de snowboard avec des amis de l'école, maintenant c'est plein de choses à faire et à apprécier dans la région. Le séjour à l'hôtel était à la fois agréable et pittoresque.

Une station incroyable pour le plaisir de la neige ! Je fais du snowboard ici et à part le très long trajet en voiture... cet endroit est un plaisir incroyable ! Les pistes sont bien entretenues, le personnel est amical et serviable. Les restaurants sont bons. J'adore cet endroit !

Grande station. J'étais ici pour la parade annuelle du Porsche Club of America et j'ai passé un bon moment. Le personnel du complexe était sympathique et serviable. Les restaurants étaient bons. J'ai séjourné dans un merveilleux condo de deux chambres et de trois étages.
