This reserve is situated on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. Its territory, with an area of 1400 hectares, is occupied by a vast area of swamps and marshes, accompanied by a hardwood forest spot a sugar maple of a few hundred years and a rare essence, elm Thomas. Near the reception, an observation tower offers views of the reserve. The path of the dike egrets, decorated with nature interpretation stations, allows you to walk on the dike and leads to a lookout with views of the marsh and the Adirondacks. We can see more than 150 animal species, including many amphibians and fish in the swamp. More than 200 bird species, many endangered, are listed in a brochure
