From sunrise to sunset
The Mount Cain Alpine Park cross-country ski trailhead is located on the east side of Mount Cain, just north of the village of Port McNeill. From Port McNeill, drive north on Highway 19 for about 5 km to the Mount Cain Ski Resort turnoff. Turn left (east) and drive up the mountain for about 2 km to the trailhead parking lot.
The Mount Cain Alpine Park is a great place to visit for those who love the outdoors. The park is home to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the area, as well as plenty of hiking and biking trails. There is also a lodge on-site that offers food and drinks, as well as a place to rest after a long day of exploring.
