Why choose a trail at Crabbe Mountain?
Crabbe Mountain is a Canadian alpine ski hill in Central Hainesville, New Brunswick near the intersection of Route 104 and Route 610. New Brunswick's highest vertical at 853 feet offers challenging terrain for skiers of all abilities. Crabbe Mountain has a wide-open beginner area with a pony lift for those just starting out. There's a wide variety of groomed, ungroomed, cruising trails and steep pitches. Crabbe offers many woods/glades runs, and they have some features such as tree rails, rock jumps and northshores. Crabbe also has three terrain parks. They have features such as jumps, hip transfers, spine transfers and rails and is one of the best terrain parks in the Maritimes.Crabbe Mountain is a great place for cross-country skiing. The trails are well groomed and there is a variety of terrain to choose from, including hills and forests. The scenery is beautiful and there is plenty of wildlife to see. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Crabbe Mountain for anyone looking for a great cross-country skiing experience.

My husband and I recently moved here to New Brunswick. He used to ski years back and was very interested in coming to see the local ski hill. When we arrived to Crabbe Mountain, we did not come to ski but only to scout the place and give ourselves some motivation to hit the slopes next winter. We did however take in the chalet and studied the ski runs. The chalet was wonderful and there was a very good local band playing. Even though we did not ski on this trip we found it was wonderful to sit in the chalet, listen to the music, and look out onto the mountain. The chalet was very relaxing and we really enjoyed the time spent there. After observing the list of runs we were amazed at the variety of runs for a local hill and we are very excited to give it a try this next winter. We recently moved from places without good ski hills (Central Indiana and Winnipeg Manitoba) and were very excited to see a ski hill with such variety a short drive from Fredericton. Crabbe Mountain compared favorably in many ways to options we would have to drive a day to get to.

Regarding management and ski camp 2016: I know the weather this week (March break 2016) has not been favorable for winter sports, but neither the Crabbe Mountain Web site or Crabbe Mountain phone line indicated the hill to be closed on March 10 and Ski camps were canceled and refund to be issued. New management get your act to together! Many parents drove their children this morning to the mountain to find this disappointing surprise!

Best downhill skiing in the three Maritime provinces, and great chalet with some great soups. Only negative is the lack of motels and accommodations nearby. Highly recommended

Gorgeous mountain. Only went once and it was very comparable to poley. And much better parks than poley and I think I might have enjoyed it just a little more
