The resort has a total of 36 trails, most of which are beginner or intermediate level. There is also a terrain park for those looking for more of a challenge. Mount Pakenham is open from December to April, and offers both downhill and cross-country skiing.
The cross-country skiing at Mount Pakenham is some of the best in the province. The trails are well groomed and maintained, and there is a great variety of difficulty levels to choose from. If you're a beginner, there are plenty of easy trails to get started on, while more experienced skiers can test their skills on the more challenging routes. There is also a nice network of trails for snowshoeing, which makes for a great alternative if the skiing conditions aren't ideal.
In addition to the great skiing, Mount Pakenham also has a number of other winter activities to enjoy. There is a tubing park with six lanes, as well as an ice skating rink and toboggan hill. The resort also has a heated chalet with a restaurant and bar, where you can warm up after a day on the slopes.
