Starting Point

From Quebec City, take Highway 73 south to the Saint-Joseph/Lac-Etchemin exit.

Then take route 276 east and continue to the end. At the junction of route 277, turn left, then immediately left after the bridge, onto rang du Mont-Orignal.

The reception is about 3 km away.

Why visit Mont Orignal

This network of snowshoe trails traverses the mountains amidst the Appalachian forest. The trail leads to five peaks, including Mount Moose, which rises to 612 m above sea level.

For the same reason, several viewpoints are accessible and allow you to appreciate the area from different angles.

The Mount Turmel Trail as well as the Meanders Trail are about 0.3 kilometers long. Their level is considered difficult.

Pilgrim Trail and Cape Trail are about 0.7 kilometers in length. And their level is considered difficult.

The Cedar Loop Trail is approximately 1.3 km in length. And its level is considered easy.

The Urubus Loop Trail is approximately 4.3 km in length and is considered easy in level.

The River Trail and is approximately 6.3 km in length and is considered easy.

As for the Comeau Loop, the Turme Mountain Loopl, the Maple Grove Trails, the Moose Mountain Trail are intermediate level. Their length varies between 0.6 and 7.3 kilometers.
