Not very hard - you can do the trek with small children of 5 years old too. The 300m elevation gain is gradual enough for young hikers, and the well-marked trails ensure safety. Family-friendly terrain with interesting features that keep kids engaged throughout the hike. Great introduction to hiking for children.

I visited the Gorges de Ceyrat during an August day. While the landscape is pleasant, I found some trails a bit too crowded to truly appreciate nature. However, the beauty of the vitrified rocks and flora diversity are impressive. The 300m elevation provides nice viewpoints despite summer crowds. A good experience overall, but I'll choose another season for a more tranquil walk next time.

The Gorges de Ceyrat were a superb family experience! We loved exploring the well-marked trails, even with our children. The local wildlife like squirrels captivated their attention throughout the hike. The dense vegetation and fresh air were perfect for a summer day. We had our picnic by the river - pure bliss! The moderate 300m elevation gain was manageable for kids.
