Family-friendly trail that took us about 4 hours at a leisurely pace with children. The forested path is enjoyable and the waterfall viewpoint is rewarding. Some sections become narrow and require supervision with kids. Bridge access was temporarily closed during our visit, requiring a small detour. Overall excellent introduction to Bauges hiking.

Beautiful refreshing hike perfect for hot weather. The trail follows the torrent with several photo spots and natural pools along the way. Access to the main cascade requires crossing some slippery rocks - safety equipment recommended if you want to get close to the source. Parking at Lanceney provides good access to both upper and lower waterfalls.

Completed this hike during peak summer season and encountered many tourists at the waterfall. The cascade wasn't as impressive due to lower water levels typical for this time of year. Better to visit between March and June when water flow is stronger. The 300m elevation gain is manageable for most fitness levels, though parking can be challenging.

Pleasant forest trail that's well-shaded, perfect for summer hiking. The waterfall is spectacular after heavy rains, though the final approach requires some caution with the technical sections. Trail marking could be improved in places, but the stunning views make it worthwhile. Recommend bringing proper hiking boots and poles for the steeper sections.

Demanding but incredibly rewarding trail, especially the first 3km with steep 500m elevation gain. The waterfall after spring rains is absolutely spectacular - water cascading from the cliff creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Via ferrata options nearby add extra adventure for experienced hikers. Best visited during high water periods for maximum impact.
