Solid moderate hike with excellent payoff at the top. The elevation gain of 430m provides good exercise without being overwhelming. Fair Street parking area works well as a starting point, just remember to bring cash for parking fees. The trail offers beautiful Hudson Valley perspectives that justify the effort required.

Bull Hill delivered incredible scenery throughout the ascent. The 430-meter climb is steep in sections but manageable for most hikers. I started from Little Stony Point and found the trailhead access straightforward via Route 9D. The 3-4 hour duration is accurate - perfect for a half-day adventure in the Hudson Valley region.
