We spent a pleasant day at this beautiful location in early August. The weather was perfect, which allowed our children to explore the area around the waterfall for hours. We loved the tranquility of the place, away from mass tourism. Remember to bring suitable shoes for the rocky terrain and change of clothes, as the water is really tempting for a refreshing dip!

We visited this stunning waterfall location in summer, and it was incredible. The natural pool is magnificent, with crystal clear water surrounded by rocks. It's perfect for a family day out, even though it was a bit crowded. The children loved swimming in the shallow areas. Remember to bring shade equipment, as tree cover is limited near the waterfall itself. A beautiful way to spend the day!

As a regular hiker, I can say that the trail to Cascade de la Brive isn't very demanding, but it offers a beautiful walk through the Ain region. The 150m elevation gain provides nice views, and you can observe local wildlife, especially birds. However, the lack of nearby services can be an inconvenience. Make sure to bring water and snacks before setting off on this rewarding hike.

Great hike to Cascade de la Brive. A real treat with very shaded sections along the way. The waterfall awaits at arrival, making the 150m climb worthwhile. Enjoy the peaceful stroll along the watercourse, but beware of some difficult rocky passages near the cascade. The natural setting in Ain region is absolutely stunning and refreshing.
