An exotic place with technical passages through this stunning canyon in the Drôme region. Bring good shoes and especially a small jacket too 🥶 as temperatures drop significantly inside the narrow gorge. The 350m elevation change over 4.5km includes challenging sections with ropes and ladders that require proper footwear. Plan 2.5-3 hours for the complete moderate difficulty walk, though it can take longer depending on your hiking pace and photo stops 🤠. Signage is well marked throughout the trail.

A simple walk for the whole family except the dogs, as pets are not permitted on this trail. The Canyon des Gueulards offers a real change of scenery from typical hiking paths, with its unique rock formations and narrow passages. Despite the 350m elevation gain over 4.5km, the well-maintained trail makes it accessible for most fitness levels. Allow 2.5 hours for this moderate difficulty hike, providing an unforgettable outdoor experience in the beautiful Drôme landscape.
