After a horrible experience on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway, I was headed home feeling sad. I took a chance and pulled off at the Cannon Mountain Tram. I am SO GLAD I did!! A lovely and inexpensive ride to the top of the mountain. Very smooth and fantastic views. It was a bit late in the day, so I couldn't stay long…but did the quarter mile Ridge Trail (twice). I noticed there were other trails as well. Will skip the Cog and arrive earlier next time to explore the trail system. Was great to walk around and it was just beautiful. Thanks!!

Cheap tram rides that give you priceless views, hiking trails that extend for miles, a natural lake that ALWAYS stays cold year round, ( for the hot summer days ), a base area that's never crowded, all located next to one of the most beautiful towns of New Hampshire.
