I went for the Summer Music with the Utah Symphony and it was a great experience. The mountain was much cooler than the valley. The view was gorgeous. The sound system was good. It was very well run and the staff, especially Alyssa, was extremely helpful. There was only one tent serving alcohol so during the intermission the line was very long. Parking was very crowded. It was slow going leaving the venue. Double check the height of your chair as they are very strict about the 9" rule. You may also want to bring a blanket and a jacket because the temperature does drop.

Continually rated the #1 ski resort in the US with good reason. The slopes are nicely groomed with lots of off piste areas to powder ski. The food in the restaurants is superb and the staff is always customer focused. And just because it's summer the fun doesn't stop. Chairlifts run to take you up the mountain to hike or mountain bike down. The are weekly open air concerts with big name artists and the Utah Symphony. I feel fact, as I write this we are picnicking on the slopes listening to the Utah Symphony play the 1812 Overture---with cannons blasting.

Deer Valley really is an incredible adventure! Skiing where the 2002 winter Olympics was hosted is unlike anything else. Their slopes go on for miles and staff is always so helpful and welcoming. Expect to spend some decent money if planning a trip here. A world renowned resort calls for some world renowned monies but it is so worth it. Ski season can be relatively short compared to other Utah resorts so watch for that and try to go early on in the season before the mashed potatoes come out!

I love skiing at deer valley. The mountain is wonderful. The lodges are upscale and every chairlift has a foot rest to relax in-between runs. I love being able to ski around all of the fancy cabins in the area. Definitely would recommend to everyone if you get the chance to go to deer valley, take it! You will not be disappointed. For the more advanced skiers looking for a challenge, I'd recommend skiing off empire Express near the Daly chutes or sultan Express.
