Lovely round trip along the river through the Gorges du Furon. There are several waterfalls that are worth it, especially refreshing during summer months. The path starts from the car park to see the 'grotte les cuves de Sassenange'. You just have to follow the path that goes along the river, on the left side (direction les cotes). Almost at the end you have to cross a bridge that leads to a steep slope. The road is easy overall despite the 300m elevation gain.

Superb hike of 2 hours round trip without too much difference in height. Easy to do, made with two children aged 6 and 11. The 300m elevation gain is very manageable for families. Very nice to do when it's hot! Shade and water on the program thanks to the river running alongside the path. The gorges provide natural cooling and beautiful scenery. Perfect family adventure in the Isère region.
