Excellent picnic spot with tranquil surroundings perfect for unwinding. The protected natural space maintains its wild character despite being close to urban areas. Walking paths meander beautifully alongside the water with plenty of shade from mature trees. Ideal for families looking for an easy outdoor adventure without traveling far from Grenoble.

Beautiful transparent water surrounded by lush greenery creates a truly peaceful atmosphere. This protected natural area offers stunning views of the Belledonne, Chartreuse and Vercors mountain ranges. Perfect spot for relaxation and bird watching - spotted kingfishers and grey herons during my visit. The proximity to Grenoble makes it an excellent quick escape from city life.

Nice lake with clear water, though some pollution concerns are evident from agricultural runoff. The 10-meter depth makes it interesting for fishing enthusiasts who can catch perch and pike. Access can be challenging as bridge crossings over the river are limited. Despite these issues, it remains a refreshing summer destination for those seeking a quick nature break near the city.

Pleasant walk around the lake area, though visibility of the water is limited from the trail. The path is well-maintained and offers nice views of the surrounding mountains. However, some sections run close to the main road which detracts from the natural experience. The lack of proper rest areas and occasional litter issues are disappointing. Better suited for a quick nature escape than a full day adventure.

Lovely shaded trail that's accessible year-round with decent parking facilities. The route follows the Isère riverbank before reaching the lake shores. While swimming is prohibited due to water quality, the area provides excellent fishing opportunities. The artificial lake setting offers a nice contrast to the surrounding urban development. Great for a moderate workout with scenic rewards.
