Privacy Policy

Let's Go Play Outside (operated by Unik Experience) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain words, what personal information we collect when you request a free guide or subscribe to the newsletter, what it is used for, who has access to it, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It complements the site's terms of use.

1. What we collect

When you fill in a capture form (free guide, newsletter), we record:

• your email address (required);
• your first name (optional);
• the site language you are using and the guide you requested;
• your device's IP address and browser, the page the request came from, and the date and time;
• your choice for the "newsletter" box (ticked or not).

We do not ask for a password, a phone number or a postal address on these forms.

2. What it is used for

• emailing you the guide you requested (download link);
• sending you the newsletter, only if you ticked the box: requesting a guide does not subscribe you to the newsletter;
• keeping proof of your consent or of your unsubscribe, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and Quebec's Law 25;
• replying to you if you write to us.

We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with the providers named below, solely to deliver these services.

3. Who hosts your information

• Our own database keeps the proof of consent (email, IP address, browser, source page, date, language, requested guide) and your contact record.
• MailerLite, our newsletter provider and processor, receives your email, first name, language, and the date and IP address of your consent. Its servers are located outside Canada (European Union); your information there is subject to the laws of that territory. MailerLite is contractually bound to use it only on our behalf.
• Our email provider carries the email that delivers the guide to you.

4. How long we keep it

• Newsletter: as long as you are subscribed.
• After you unsubscribe: your address stays on our suppression list so we never write to you again, and the proof of consent and of unsubscribe is kept for three years, the period needed to demonstrate CASL compliance.
• Guide requested without subscribing: three years after the request.
• On a deletion request: your information is erased, except the minimal trace (email and date) needed to honour your exclusion.

5. How to unsubscribe

Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also use the unsubscribe page by entering your email address, no password needed. The request is processed immediately.

6. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent. Write to info@letsgoplayoutside.com or use the contact form, stating the email address concerned. We reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

7. Cookies and audience measurement

The site uses audience measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar and the Meta pixel) that set cookies to understand how pages are used. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings.

8. User account and contact forms

If you create an account or write to us, the information you enter (name, email, message, published content) is used only to run your account, publish what you choose to publish and reply to you.

9. Responsible party and changes
