We were not told about these warnings (contaminated water) when they gave us kayaks (although it is not recommended to do so). A piece of advice: don't swim in that water and be very careful!

Superb and well maintained park. There are plenty of trails for all abilities. Also perfect for hammock hikers. Over three days we only met 2 hikers, which makes the park feel like we own it. We hiked more than 55km in 3 days to complete the big crossing of the big coulee to the park entrance in St-Lucie. We recommend. Here is the list of animals we saw. The most beautiful park near Quebec City! The welcome is very warm at the Appalachian Park, the equipment rental is very affordable and the park is very beautiful. I went on a snowshoeing trip there and it's the most beautiful trail I've seen in the region even when I went to Jacques-Cartier. Can't wait to go back this summer!

POSITIVE: Super cute place for a couple, bed comfortable enough for a cottage. ULTRA clean🧼🚿 cottage/toilet/shower. ~11 logs/Lighting wood for $15 delivered to your door (affordable price )🌲 Nearby nature trail/park nice to visit. Cars not allowed no lights or engine noise at 11pm at night. 🤫 NEGATIVE: Not answering phone after 6 calls in 3 days. No signal 📵 If you want to hear NOTHING there is a chance that your neighbors (about 15 meters away) have children or animals, personally we were lucky with our neighbors. Overall we had a wonderful weekend inside a warm and beautiful cottage relaxing and drinking wine 🍷
