Peaceful spot at Lac de Frace, though the paid access might deter some visitors. The 300m climb is manageable for most fitness levels and rewards you with serene lake views. Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed, which limits family options. The lack of free parking is a downside, but the natural beauty of the area compensates. Plan accordingly for the entrance fees.

Beautiful lake destination in the Vienne region! The 300m elevation gain provides a decent workout without being too strenuous. The trail offers lovely views as you ascend, and Lac de Frace itself is quite picturesque. Worth noting that parking and access require fees, so come prepared. A solid day trip for those looking for a moderate hiking challenge.
