Trail description

PARTIAL_FIX - Remove or clarify elevation claims. Web source (awalkandalark.com) confirms Bear Mountain in Mission is 543m high, contradicting the '2,000 meters of elevation variation' claim. Description conflates resort amenities (golf, ski facilities) not verified in hiking sources. RECOMMENDATION: Refocus description on verified hiking trail characteristics or clearly separate resort amenities from trail information.

We frequent this establishment and always enjoy the food and great service as well as the mountain views. PROS: Good food and service, very nice and clean restaurant, nice ambiance, beautiful nature views through huge windows overlooking Bear Mountain's scenic landscape. The resort's elevated position at 1958m provides breathtaking vistas of Vancouver Island's wilderness. CONS: Food and coffee arrive lukewarm at the table. A solution would be providing waiters with rolling serving dollies to serve entire tables at once, reducing walking distances and ensuring hot meals. Despite this issue, the stunning mountain setting makes it worth returning.

I attended with my family at Bear Mountain Resort's restaurant and wasn't impressed. The food took over an hour despite not appearing very busy. Three of us ordered fish and chips for $29 expecting decent portions, but each piece was equivalent to a Mars Bar size - smaller than McDonald's Fillet-O-Fish. The fish had an unpleasant ammonia taste. My son's $18 sushi plate was reasonably priced. Customer service was below average. Sitting outside on a chilly night without heat lamps was uncomfortable, and staff didn't offer to move us inside when tables became available. The resort's beautiful mountain setting at 1958m elevation deserves better dining service. Access via Highway Exit 118 is convenient, but the experience fell short of expectations.
