Trail description
Practical Information
The trailhead is located at the end of Cape Split Road, off Highway 358 near Scots Bay. Parking is available at the trailhead, though it fills up quickly on summer weekends and holiday Mondays — arriving early in the morning makes a real difference. The trail is on provincial land managed as a nature reserve, so the usual rules apply: pack out everything you bring in, stay on the trail, and respect the environment at the cliff edges.
There are no facilities at the trailhead beyond the parking area, so come prepared. Bring enough water for the full out-and-back distance, snacks, and a basic repair kit for your bike. Connectivity may vary in this area — plan accordingly and do not rely on cell service for navigation or emergencies.
