Incredible geological wonder in the Var region! The limestone gorges carved by the Blavet River create a magical atmosphere with turquoise pools and dramatic cliff walls. Despite the moderate difficulty rating, some scrambling over rocks is needed. The 120m elevation gain is manageable for most hikers. Bring water and wear good hiking shoes - the terrain can be slippery near the water.

Fantastic short hike that packs a lot of natural beauty into just 3.2 kilometers. The gorges offer cool shade even on hot summer days, making it a great escape. The trail follows the river through narrow passages with impressive rock walls towering above. Takes about 1h30 as indicated, though you'll want to spend extra time photographing the stunning scenery and unique geological formations.

Beautiful moderate hike through the Gorges du Blavet with stunning rock formations and crystal-clear water pools. The 3.2km trail with 120m elevation gain took us about 1.5 hours, perfect for a half-day adventure. Some sections require careful footing on rocky terrain, but the scenery is absolutely worth it. Note that access requires payment and dogs aren't allowed.
