Hiking in Gorges du Blavet: trails, map and practical info

Incredible geological wonder in the Var region! The limestone gorges carved by the Blavet River create a magical atmosphere with turquoise pools and dramatic cliff walls. Despite the moderate difficulty rating, some scrambling over rocks is needed. The 120m elevation gain is manageable for most hikers. Bring water and wear good hiking shoes - the terrain can be slippery near the water.

The trail follows the river through narrow passages with impressive rock walls towering above. Takes about 1h30 as indicated, though you'll want to spend extra time photographing the stunning scenery and unique geological formations.
