Absolutely breathtaking gorge that showcases the raw beauty of Provence's landscape. The 500m vertical drop creates incredible vantage points for photography and nature observation. Though it's a paid site, the conservation efforts are evident in the pristine condition of the trails and surrounding vegetation. The limestone formations carved by centuries of water erosion are truly remarkable. Definitely worth the entrance fee for serious hikers.

Perfect location for capturing the dramatic contrasts between the white limestone cliffs and emerald waters typical of Provence gorges. The 500m elevation change offers multiple perspectives for stunning shots. Access fees apply but contribute to maintaining this natural wonder. The restriction on dogs ensures wildlife protection. Come early morning for the best lighting conditions on the canyon walls.

The 500m elevation gain provides stunning views of the dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-clear pools below.
