Mission accomplished. It's fab! Completed the full 4.51km trail with its challenging 1043m elevation gain in about 5 hours. The moderate difficulty rating is accurate but don't underestimate the climb. Access from Huntersfield Road is easy to find, and the Catskill views from the summit are absolutely fantastic.

Another beautiful Catskills gem! Huntersfield Mountain delivers excellent hiking with its well-designed trail system. The substantial elevation gain provides great exercise while the mountain scenery keeps you motivated throughout the moderate-difficulty ascent. Definitely worth the trip to Prattsville area.
