The hike to Windham High Peak is definitely a good workout with its 518m elevation gain, though it felt more challenging than I expected for a moderate rating. The trail can be quite steep in places, making the 4.8km feel longer than anticipated. That said, the views from the summit are lovely and the Catskills scenery is beautiful throughout the climb.
