As an amateur photographer, Lac Vert was a true feast for my eyes. The reflections in the water at dawn are breathtaking. The ambient calm and soft light made this moment an unforgettable experience. The 300m elevation gain provides excellent vantage points for capturing the lake from different angles. I highly recommend going early in the morning to enjoy this spectacle. The autumn colors also promise to be superb!

We did this family hike with our two teenagers. The 300m elevation gain is definitely present, which challenged us, but the trail remains accessible. The young ones particularly enjoyed discovering the local wildlife, with several birds and squirrels present. A beautiful outing to recharge and spend quality time together in the stunning Haute-Savoie nature! Perfect for families seeking moderate adventure.

We loved our hike around Lac Vert. The trail is well-marked and offers beautiful immersion in nature. We met some friendly hikers, which adds to the experience. The summer landscapes are magnificent, with abundant flora. However, be careful as some sections can be slippery after rain, especially given the 300m elevation change. The well-maintained path in Haute-Savoie makes it accessible for most fitness levels.

Hike completed in early spring around Lac Vert. I was a bit disappointed by the trail conditions, which were muddy in certain areas. The landscape is beautiful, but it lacked greenery at this time of year. The 300m elevation gain felt more challenging in these conditions. I would suggest waiting a few weeks for nature to renew itself before visiting. Good pace for an occasional hiker, but I won't return until summer.
