A lovely part of France. People very friendly and this campsite is 1 of the best I've stayed on. Very clean facilities and great atmosphere. The Maine-et-Loire region offers wonderful easy hiking opportunities with gentle terrain - perfect for families looking to explore the beautiful countryside without challenging climbs. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful base.

This neat campsite is nested between Montreuil-Bellay's old stones and the Thouet flowing gently through green banks with trees. Proficient staff. Feel free to ask them for information, to express your wishes. During our stay, all our grocery needs were fulfilled at reasonable walking distances through nice settings ("Escalier Saint-Pierre" among others). Plenty to enjoy at walking distance, including access to easy hiking trails perfect for a relaxing 3-hour outdoor adventure.

Fantastic approach to the site from the north: over the river, through an archway and beside the city walls (bigger rigs go around). Impressive chateau but adjacent town has little else to offer beyond basic shopping needs - best not to visit on Sunday or Monday! On site facilities included a popular bar restaurant and an excellent covered pool, typical of Flower sites. Good sized pitches, shade provided by mature trees. Power supply next to each pitch. Water supply just a short walk away. Sanitations were clean and adequate, if a little dated. Free WiFi, not marvellous but functional.

Lovely camp site. Well maintained. Nice covered pool and loungers. Welcoming bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. Perfect base for outdoor activities - the gentle 50m elevation gain on local trails makes it accessible for families. The peaceful Maine-et-Loire setting provides excellent opportunities for easy hiking and nature walks right from the campsite.

Just spent a wonderful few days here in a coco sweet. Excellent facilities all round and really good food and wine in the bar. Ideally situated for exploring the town and region, including the nearby Sentier Des Nobis trail which offers an easy 11.5km walk through beautiful Maine-et-Loire countryside. The staff were most pleasant and helpful and I will definitely both return and recommend. Special mention to newest staff member Louh a joy to behold.
