Very beautiful trail in the Rhône region, far from everything and close to everything at the same time. The 450m elevation gain and rocky terrain make it challenging but rewarding. On the other hand on a racing bike I got stuck due to the rough path conditions. Better an ATV for wheeled adventures, but hiking boots work perfectly for this raptor-themed trail! 😁

Bring good shoes for the pebbles and climbs along this 450m elevation trail. Pleasant trail where there are not too many people, room to move around and pass each other. Sheltered from the sun by tree coverage, it is pleasant in the event of strong heat during summer months. With a 5 year old child who likes to walk, it's great - the moderate difficulty makes it manageable for active kids.

A nice family outing on Sentier Des Rapaces. Be careful with the little ones: there are a few stones at times but nothing insurmountable with the 450m elevation gain spread throughout the trail. The rocky sections add character to the hike. We can join other paths if we want to continue the walk, making it perfect for extending your adventure in the Rhône region.
