Amazing discovery near the Swiss border from Chamonix! Every view along this Haute-Savoie trail is breathtaking and the area truly caters to outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. Absolutely captivating 15 minute approach to the cascade location, though the 260m elevation gain makes it more challenging than it initially appears. Wide, well-maintained paths make it accessible, with many additional trails to venture off depending on experience and comfort level.

Nice family easy walk despite the steady 260m climb through beautiful Haute-Savoie forest. We had a 3 year old who managed it with a little help on the steeper stairs sections near the cascade. The waterfall is really beautiful and worth the effort - truly spectacular when water levels are high. We had a drink and delicious blueberry pie at the small restaurant, which provided a perfect rest after the hike.

Lovely path through the pine woods with many sunny spots perfect for family photos. We did it with our 2.5 year old girl in 40 mins, managing the 260m elevation gain at a comfortable pace. Consider parking at the hotel down the road as it's about the same distance and potentially easier access. Many paths go further into the nature preserve if you start early enough. The café nearby isn't worth it as views are better from the waterfall viewpoint and service is painfully slow.
