Attempted the winter hike and while the snow-covered landscape was absolutely beautiful, the icy sections required extra caution and proper equipment. Much quieter than summer months which added to the peaceful experience. Would definitely recommend bringing microspikes or similar traction devices for safety on the steeper sections.

Winter conditions made this trail quite challenging with icy sections throughout the route. The snowy landscape was absolutely gorgeous, but I'd strongly recommend bringing microspikes or crampons for safety. The positive side was fewer crowds compared to summer months, creating a very peaceful and serene hiking experience in the quiet winter forest.

Started my hike early in the morning and was rewarded with incredible tranquility on the trails. The 18km distance with 400m elevation gain was manageable for someone with moderate fitness like myself. The peaceful forest atmosphere made this an excellent choice for morning exercise, and I'm already planning to return during fall foliage season.

An excellent choice for early morning hikes seeking solitude and natural beauty. The terrain remains accessible for hikers of varying experience levels, making it ideal for those looking to ease into their fitness routine. The summit views provide a satisfying reward after the ascent, and the peaceful forest atmosphere creates a meditative experience that keeps me coming back seasonally.

As someone passionate about birdwatching, Mont Bélanger exceeded my expectations. The diverse habitats from dense forest to open areas provided excellent opportunities to spot various species including woodpeckers and raptors. Met several fellow nature enthusiasts along the way who shared great wildlife spotting tips. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Eastern Townships biodiversity.
