What a great family-friendly hike! My kids loved exploring the diverse flora and spotting some birds along the way. The picnic area near the shelter was perfect for a lovely lunch break. We will definitely return in the fall to see the foliage!

The park is nice, but be aware of the crowds during weekends. The trail was busy, and it sometimes took away from the serenity I was looking for. Nonetheless, I appreciated the well-maintained paths and the convenience of rest areas along the way.
