What an incredible waterfall! The Cascade de la Vis exceeded all my expectations. The 150m ascent provides beautiful views along the way, and the sound of rushing water grows stronger as you approach. Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed, so plan accordingly. The paid access helps maintain the site in pristine condition. I'd recommend bringing a camera and taking your time to fully appreciate this natural wonder.

The waterfall itself is beautiful, but be prepared for the access fees and paid parking which can add up. The 150m climb is manageable for most fitness levels, though the trail can be steep in sections. It's disappointing that dogs aren't permitted, especially for those who enjoy hiking with their pets. Despite these limitations, the Cascade de la Vis remains a worthwhile destination in the Gard region.

The Cascade de la Vis is a hidden gem in the Gard region that requires some effort to reach. The 150m elevation gain makes it a moderate climb, but the stunning waterfall at the end is absolutely worth it. The trail can be challenging in places, so proper hiking boots are essential. Note that parking isn't free and there's an access fee, but the natural beauty of this cascade justifies the cost.
