Managed this trail with children aged 7-11 without major difficulties, though some sections require careful supervision. The variety of landscapes from river level to cliff tops keeps everyone engaged. Cave exploration and forest paths add extra interest beyond just the famous viewpoint. Allow extra time with young hikers but very rewarding family adventure.

Beautiful natural setting but be aware of seasonal restrictions. Parts of the cirque were closed during our visit due to wildlife protection measures for nesting birds. The accessible portions still offer lovely views, though signage could be clearer about closures. Great respect for conservation efforts but disappointing for those planning the full circuit.

Absolutely stunning hike with incredible views of the limestone cliffs and river below. The route follows ledges above the gorge which can be tricky to navigate at first, but persistence pays off with sensational vistas. Perfect for photography enthusiasts who love dramatic landscapes. The exposed sections require good weather conditions for safety.

The trail offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Ardèche gorges from the main viewpoint. While the path can be challenging with some steep rocky sections and thorny vegetation, the spectacular scenery makes it worthwhile. I'd recommend stopping at the cirque viewpoint rather than continuing the full route, as the later sections offer less impressive views and limited shade.

Reached the trail but found navigation quite challenging with poor signposting in places. The path to the main panorama viewpoint is poorly marked and easy to miss. While the destination is spectacular, getting lost repeatedly detracted from the experience. Recommend downloading GPS tracking apps before attempting this hike to avoid similar frustrations.
